Talent and diagnostic and guidance centers in Cuba

Abstract

The educational attention to talent is a concept that encompasses, as basic tasks, identification, stimulation of their potentialities and talents, and orientation of their problems and their integral development. One of the most complex aspects in talent education is precisely the identification process, which has been undergoing changes, due to scientific develpments.

The Project: Attention to talent in the new plans and programs of Cuban education, of the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences, recognizes the Diagnostic and Orientation Centers as specialized services for diagnosis and orientation to special educational needs associated with talent.
