Abstract

One of the research lines of the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences is directed to the attention of the families of the students, as part of the educational policy of the country. These studies are oriented in the education to the family, in the relations between the home and the educational institution, among others.
The article is intended to reveal what happens in families that have early childhood children with autism. Results obtained in the Dora Alonso school that cares for children with this condition are valued.
