Abstract

The reading and writing processes in these times are increasingly multimodal, hence the teaching-learning of language and literature not only addresses the comprehension, analysis and construction of modal texts, but also of multimodal texts, which demonstrates Given these changes, a problem is perceived in the Spanish-Literature classes in the pre-university that consists of how to contribute from the teaching-learning of the multimodal text to literary education. In this study, the teaching-learning process was investigated in the 12th grade of "Pedro Pablo Rivera Cué" high school, in Jovellanos, Matanzas. The investigative process developed was based on the application of the Marxist-Leninist materialist dialectic as a general methodology of scientific knowledge and various methods that respond to educational research were used.
