The management style in the process of the III Perfection of the National Education System

The Improvement of the National Education System has been a significant issue for Cuban teachers, in order to guarantee higher levels of quality in students and the achievement of the end and objectives of each level of education. Among the actions developed in this process, a pedagogical experiment was conceived in selected educational institutions and modalities throughout the country, which were representative of the different alternatives of school organization and life regime consistent with current policy. The management style was one of the dimensions explored in this process of pedagogical experimentation, making it possible to identify strengths, weaknesses and model methodological procedures with the use of democratic and participatory methods that would guarantee collective participation in decision-making.
