The process of educational improvement of Cuba in its different stages, has been consistent with the social demands and demands arising from the educational practice. The results achieved in the corresponding implementations have been generally positive, even though there are difficulties to pay attention to. Precisely these limitations, plus the new social demands to update the education system, improve the organization of educational institutions, among others, have laid the foundations to promote the current stage of improvement, in which significant transformations are proposed and implemented.
