The present work seeks to carry out a theoretical reflection on a very rough topic inside the Cuban Education, the nature and materialization of the Philosophy of the Education on the part of investigators on the topic noticing this author's position regarding its definition, study object and tasks, highlighting, from the functions of the philosophy of the education the importance that has to consider that the same one, like Fair Chávez affirmed, he/she is the polar star that gives address to the educational process, the one that when being used correctly in the schools, it contributes to achieve the exact execution of the ends of the education.
