Curricular acceleration a challenge of educational systems

Curriculum acceleration is a challenge for educational systems; its practice is made up of various strategies because it promotes faster learning by matching the curriculum to the level of knowledge, interest and motivation of the student. The research on acceleration is extensive and consistently well-studied, and yet we are not aware of any other educational practice that is so well-researched, and at the same time so little implemented. In Cuba it must be applied exceptionally and be supported by the acceptance of the student, his family, the school and based on an in-depth study by a team of specialists empowered to make decisions. Its application should stimulate the development of the country's scientific potential, to reduce the time students spend in schools in the National Education System.
