UNDERSTANDING MULTIMODAL TEXTS: AN APPROACH TO TEACHING IN SECONDARY SCHOOL

The use of multimodal text has raised the understanding of the need for transformations in the educational field to achieve equitable access to knowledge and culture. In this sense, the school and the educational institutions have the task and social commitment of the formation of new readers and of broadening the concept of the different languages that circulate in society, by different means. This paper reflects on the multimodal text for the practice of critical reading and the production of this type of text in the Secondary School.
