In the last decade the development of the teaching-learning process of Spanish-Literature has been based on the cognitive communicative and socio-cultural orientation(A. Roméu, 2004) approach with which the components of the language are systematized through three fundamental processes to which the author named functional components. This article aims to reveal a theoretical approach to the analysis of texts, through which it deepens its definition and connection with the rest of the components as a dynamic and integrating element of the triad.
