Abstract

The identification of double exceptionality is often a complex and challenging task. The diagnosis and evaluation of the presence of some special educational need, (SEN), associated or not with the disability, always consider the talents must. While some have questioned the existence of talented and disabled learners, the findings of psychopedagogical research and pedagogical experience demonstrate the opposite and point to the need to increase the awareness of diagnostic specialists within educational settings and case studies.
