Abstract

Counseling and guidance are two terms that are often used interchangeably to refer to the same, in the context of an institutional psycho-pedagogical performance, during their pedagogical practice. However, practical and conceptual aspects that help understand both definitions can be distinguished. This work presents a theoretical systematization of both constructs in their dynamics and provides precisions for their expression in practice, specifically regarding the modes of action of this specialist teacher.
