Abstract

The role of the family in the education of students has been a topic of great significance, seen from the relationship: family, school and community as a triad of the educational system to work with a comprehensive vision on the cognitive development of the adolescent. A Family Education Schools program is proposed as an objective to contribute to the cognitive development of students enrolled in the “Manuel Ascunce Domenech” Pedagogical School as future education professionals. Through the research, theoretical, empirical and statistical methods will be used to determine the strengths and weaknesses of families for education in cognitive development. The proposal developed made it possible to demonstrate from the evaluated indicators that in the family there is a process of internalization and identification with respect to the actions that the family must carry out in the cognitive and attitudinal development of their children. The application of the Family Education Schools program offers guidance and allows parents to be offered advice to stimulate memory, imagination, creativity and thinking to contribute to raising the quality of education in this institution.
