Abstract

The Chemistry subject in basic secondary school has an educational, formative and developmental nature that corresponds to it as part of the school curriculum. In the improvement that is carried out in Cuba, even as an experiment, there are no significant changes in the contents of the eighth grade program, but rather they focus on the general methodological approach and the use of methods that encourage the participation of students. students from reflective positions when studying substances and chemical reactions as general guidelines. The work proposes a system of procedures related to the investigative teaching method for the chemistry class, taking into account the deficiencies, potentialities emanating from the diagnosis process, and the theoretical foundations that support it; the criteria of the specialists and pedagogical test that allowed the favorable results to be assessed and consideration of their relevance and relevance.
