Abstract

The article aims to assess the importance of virtual learning environments to improve the teaching-learning process of students with special educational needs (SEN) of elementary school through the application of didactic strategies and technological resources. The need to promote inclusive environments that guarantee differentiated attention and the development of students' potential is founded. Learning in virtual classrooms is a flexible alternative that enhances collaboration and helps improve concentration in class, participation and learning. Virtual learning environments arouse interest and curiosity in students during study; To the extent that its use is appropriate and consistent with the objectives set, it will exert a better influence on the cultural development of students, on their conceptions of the world, on their feelings and values, all of which are important elements in the formation of the personality.
