REFLECTIONS OF ECUADOR'S CURRICULAR REFORMS AND THEIR IMPLEMENTATION IN THE SOCIAL SCIENCES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOCAL HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE IN TENTH GRADE

This article constitutes a descriptive study of the curricular evolution of Higher Basic Education in Ecuador based on its structural and methodological modifications. The objective of the article is to present a brief theoretical foundation of the curricular transformations implemented since 2010 to the present date in the field of Social Sciences of the Higher Basic Education of the Tenth Year through bibliographic systematization, content analysis aimed at how to know its adjustments, characteristics, advances reconciled to the rescue and construction of Local Historical knowledge in the Ecuadorian Educational System. As a result, broad systematic reflections are obtained that lead to the construction of Local Historical knowledge in the Social Sciences to open different creative learning spaces, in the sense of providing identity formation in the students of the Tenth Grade.
