Abstract

This article is part of the results of the research project "Educational attention to children, adolescents and young people with special educational needs from concepts, contexts and developer practices". It ventures into the task related to the transit and exit processes that contain the retention of these students in the National Education System and their exit with preparation for a socially useful life from its possibilities. The study starts from the theoretical survey through the review of research thesis that have addressed the subject in Cuba, and the experience of practices lived in the exchange with teachers and families through the application of surveys and interviews, which allowed to obtain regularities and establish relationships between the existing theoretical and practical elements. Elements that are contextualized from educational inclusion as a current trend from the Cuban reality, with the aim of reflecting on these processes in continuous educational improvement from Special Education.
