Abstract

The comprehensive development of children with atypical developmental stages in early childhood, ages one to three, is a priority. To this end, this research aims to design an educational model for family counseling of children with atypical developmental stages in early childhood in Primary Health Care. Theoretical and empirical methods were used to verify the results, and relevance was assessed through critical opinion and collective development workshops, which certified its effectiveness. The educational model addresses the role of the family in the education of children with atypical developmental stages and the impact of the health team on their counseling by promoting the adoption of psychoeducational tools by the family, enabling them to develop educational actions within conditions of family coexistence.
