Abstract

This article explores the role of the union manager in Cuba, with the main objective of exposing actions for effective union management in a particular socio -economic context. The scientific methods used, including qualitative interviews with union leaders and a documentary analysis of Cuban labor regulations. These approaches allow a deep understanding of the internal dynamics of the unions and their interaction with the State. The importance of the union manager lies in his ability to articulate workers' demands, promote social justice and contribute to the sustainable development of the country. In an environment where economic reforms are constantly evolving, the manager becomes a bridge between workers and authorities, facilitating collective bargaining and resolution of labor conflicts. This article underlines how effective union management not only benefits workers individually, but also strengthens the social and economic fabric of Cuba, promoting a more equitable and fair work environment.
