Abstract

This work refers to the application of the Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology, multiple class sessions were developed to identify the problem and, as a priority, the proposal originates whose theme is: Shuar singing as a didactic strategy to strengthen the teaching of the mother tongue for students of the seventh level of Basic Education at UECIB “Ciudad de Macas”, during the 2022 – 2023 school year. This methodology is aimed at improving educational practice.  Considering that it will allow us to interact with teachers by exchanging knowledge, knowledge, skills and abilities. The instruments that will be used in this research project will be; the observation guide, the field diary and the checklist where different behaviors will be observed, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of our practice during the teaching-learning process. Likewise, replication will be carried out with teachers, in order to involve them in innovation processes, empowering reflection and collaborative work. With the purpose of improving the strategy, and in search of satisfactory results, contents will be modified in the replanning, carrying out a global and comprehensive manner in the product verification and comparison processes.
