Abstract

This article offers a systematic review of the psychological variables of academic stress and aggressiveness, highlighting various theoretical perspectives and conceptual models that have been proposed to understand its nature and manifestations. Academic stress is approached from the Systemic Cognitive Model, the Psychobiology of Stress Model, and the Transactional Model of Stress, highlighting its adaptive nature and associated coping strategies. On the other hand, aggressiveness is analyzed from Albert Bandura's social learning theory, Buss and Perry's model, and Erikson's psychosocial perspective, exploring its cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components.
