The role of young people with intellectual disabilities within companies in the XXI century

This paper analyzes the role of young people with disabilities within the companies of the 21st century. It starts with a review of the laws in force within Ecuador so that the labor insertion of this population is effective within public and private companies, then questions are raised that contribute to understanding the actions that a company must consider to hire people with intellectual disabilities, likewise the advantages that an employer must take into account in order to contribute to business development are presented. Finally, it is necessary to carry out a deductive analysis to guarantee the rights of people with disabilities, understanding that it must start from a legal protection, where the labor and social insertion manages an egalitarian behavior, eliminating injustice and discrimination for this population.
