Abstract

This article addresses the problem of domestic violence, highlighting it as an issue of great socio-educational importance with significant repercussions at a global level. Its main objective is to analyze the complexity and severity of this situation, as well as promote its prevention and comprehensive approach. It is emphasized that domestic violence has a negative impact on the comprehensive development of children and adolescents, and it is crucial to address the socioeconomic and educational factors that contribute to this problem. The methodology used is based on the observation and analysis of previous research and studies that have addressed this topic from different social, cultural and educational aspects. The results highlight the need for a comprehensive response that addresses the multiple causes and consequences of domestic violence and promotes education and healthy relationships in homes, as well as access to resources and support services for affected people. Furthermore, it is highlighted that domestic violence is one of the causes of educational problems in students, that is why methodological actions are required to prevent and eradicate it in homes.
