Abstract

This paper analyzes the labor inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities, understanding the limitations and challenges that this represents. In addition, a series of strategies are proposed that are mainly aimed at the labor insertion of these individuals from the psycho-pedagogical orientation, guaranteeing an inclusive process of labor insertion. On the other hand, the role played by different agents within the labor and educational field is analyzed in order to promote spaces for individual and collective development to understand the dynamics of working with young people with intellectual disabilities. Finally, it is necessary to rethink the educational processes, in order to promote a timely work route, where the labor inclusion process should not be carried out in a decontextualized way, but understanding the particularities of each individual.
