Abstract

The value of motivation in students demonstrates a main indicator that influences the learning of knowledge, thus in the subject of chemistry, motivation moves cognitive structures and allows to relate previous knowledge with new learning, effectively influencing training. intellectual and comprehensive of the student, it can be characterized as indifferent or poor motivation in the classroom, externalized by boredom, disinterest, interruptions, ability to develop tasks and others, which is why it is a problem that afflicts teachers in the classrooms, faced with this phenomenon, it is intended to discover the level of motivation in the students and to reflect on the use of TIC to enhance motivation in the teaching-learning process of chemistry, which emerges as a relevant process of innovation. in pedagogical practices to encourage motivation in first bac students unified, of the educational institution.
