Gender equality global and national policies

Abstract

Society is going through situations of preponderant generalized violence, especially in the gender sphere. In this way, situations of aggression and violation of the dignity of people are conditioned, which is why the State has the responsibility to establish the bases and guidelines for the implementation of policies that contribute to gender equality, based on respect and equity between men and women. This study deals with the analysis of gender equality, its implications with global and national policies that have been carried out, as well as highlighting the importance of promoting spaces of equality based on respect for people's rights. Taking into account that, in order to achieve a democratic society, it is necessary to promote spaces of tolerance and justice, as well as to develop activities and social projects that allow the consolidation of a society with equal conditions and opportunities for all people without distinction of gender.
