Abstract

Shunning the ontologizing vision, scholasticism or dogmatism, promote knowledge and use of the theoretical system of materialist dialectic, as well as the debate of dilemmas generated by contemporary technological scientific development, in order to provide the cosmovision and methodological support, which leads to the curricular strategies of the medical career, in a planned and organic way based on the contents of the different topics of the Philosophy subject.
The previous words, by denoting theoretical-practical insufficiencies in the process of apprehension and materialization of the contents of Philosophy as a science, in fact make the epistemic contradiction emerge between the theoretical-methodological procedure to achieve the gradual philosophical formation in future professionals of medicine from its initial training and the demands around the methodology necessary for its achievement. Therefore, the need for a methodological alternative for the philosophical training of medical students is presented and for this reason a didactic methodology was developed that, together with the use of theoretical and empirical methods, manages to combine the features, components and interrelationships of a systematic that tends to the gradual philosophical education of medical students in Cuba.
