Some notes on the biological foundations of socio-educational inclusion

Abstract

This work refers to a study carried out on a group of the written reports presented by the students for their final evaluation, in the Postgraduate Specialty of Socio-educational Inclusion, of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, of the Pedagogical University "Enrique José Varona" , between the courses 2017-2018 and 2018-2019, which showed the need to update the contents of the biological foundations with the current development achieved by neurosciences. The objective of the group of authors of this work was to develop study material for the Module: "Fundamentals, biological, psychological, pedagogical and didactic of socio-educational inclusion" and a study guide, for the self-management of the learning of the students of online form, in the period of the Covid -19 pandemic. The notes contained in the material are very useful for both teachers and students, and are related to the aspects that contribute to the socio-educational inclusion of all students, taking as a starting point the knowledge of their variability in development.
