Abstract

Educational attention to early childhood in Cuba is a very important issue that begins in the family and in which the latter reaches the leading role; and where are the grandparents, those who may be elderly or not and who constitute a human resource that being trained in issues related to childhood and from the experiences and accumulated knowledge, contribute to the formation of new generations. The research carried out; proposes an educational strategy to take advantage of the potentialities of the elderly in educational care for children in early childhood; It was characterized by having educational actions, which favored the transformation of the modes of action of older adults in their actions with children. We used theoretical, empirical and mathematical methods of investigation that allowed its realization. The results obtained with its implementation showed favorable changes in the study group and indicated its effectiveness.
