ARBOVIROSIS PREVENTION: A LOOK FROM THE RELATIONSHIP HEALTH - EDUCATION IN CUBA

Abstract

Arboviruses are a serious health problem worldwide, so the prevention of these diseases must be worked on from all ages. In Cuba, the experience of health strategies at different levels provides a favorable scenario for joint work between health authorities and educators. In this article the author offers the relevance of health-education relationships at the high school level, due to the potential of the contents of this educational level to influence students on the prevention of these diseases and as a result, link the knowledge learned to the family and the community, as well as showing their motivation, interest and participation in the care and preservation of human health. The research methods at the theoretical and empirical level of knowledge facilitated the identification of the problem and the references for its solution from the health sciences.
