Abstract

The research is inserted in the scenario of studies that pretend to optimize, from practice, the teaching-learning process of foreign languages based on more comprehensive approaches. The challenge of teaching and learning a language, as it is used in its natural context, imposes the need to seek new practices that value the pragmatic elements of discourse in favor of communication. The objective of the present reaserch is to propose communicative tasks, based on the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach, for the use of pragmatic connectors when constructing written speeches in the SSL classes taught in the Preparatory Faculty of the Medical Sciences University of Havana
In the research process, theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used to systematize the theoretical-methodological references on the subject, diagnose the current state of the use of pragmatic connectors and, consequently, with the results, propose the communicative tasks.
