Institutional Educational Project at the primary education level for child development

Abstract

In the current Cuban educational reality, the need for a management process in primary education institutions is recognized. This process must be based on the quality standards   embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, in conjunction with of the implementation the Third Improvement of the National Education System. These elements are considered essential for the design, implementation, and outcomes of the Institutional Educational Project, which is seen as unifying element within a system of influences that enhances each professional’s performance and, consequently, stimulates development of each student through the socio-educational actives implemented. The foundations explored inform its design and support methods applied. Therefore, the objective is to analyze which socio-educational activities of the Institutional Educational Project, guaranteeing inclusive, equitable, and quality education, foster childhood development in the Antonio Maceo educational institution in the Central Havana municipality. The results contribute to the research project: The training Early Childhood Education Professionals for the stimulation the neurodevelopment of elementary school students.
