Abstract

Nowadays, it is decisive to train competent, committed and creative professionals capable of addressing the problems in their field and solving current challenges. In Cuba, this is reflected in the professional profile of higher education curricular designs, where the fields of action of professionals are defined. In the case of engineering careers, solving practical problems is essential. Scientific progress, research methods and technology make it necessary to improve the preparation of future engineers. The objective of this work is to support the contribution of the design of a preparation and training brochure, directly influencing the teaching-learning process of the topic "Series and differential equations". Using the following theoretical methods: documentary analysis, historical-logical analysis and within the empirical level: pedagogical observation, interview and document review. Its novelty lies in providing the student with a complementary text applying knowledge in this subject in an integrative way.
