Abstract

This article responds to the demand of assuming the teaching of History from a novel and renovating perspective from the requirements of the III Improvement of the National Education  System.  The  research  result  comes  from  two  projects  carried  out  by  theProvincial Direction of Education in Villa Clara. The objective of this work is to present how to approach the teaching of Cuban History in Pre-university from Fidel Castro's historical thought, making  known  the  theoretical  constructs  that  make  up  this  thought,  the judgments that      emerge from his analysis about History and also to offer recommendations for the insertion of Fidel Castro's historical thought in the teaching of Cuban History in Pre-university. The analytical-synthetic, deductive-inductive method was used,  favoring  the  study  of  concrete  or  particular  issues,  valid  for  a  theoretical  and practical generalization, systematization and system approach, observation, documentary analysis and triangulation at the empirical level. The proposal presented is applicable to the teaching of Cuban History at the pre-university level at the country level.
