Abstract

The search for an expert reader is the formative purpose of teaching literature. In this sense, emphasis is placed on the reading of the works and their understanding for the formation of competent readers who analyze the work and know how to identify the message of the text and those aesthetic features that make it up, and build their personality in the affective order. When it is speaking of literary analysis, the aim is not only to master the entire work and its features, but also to appreciate the aesthetic and axiological values that it presents. In this sense, literary competence is the final goal of the analysis of literary works. A literary competence that forms a reader who appreciates the work, decodes the literary text with a total mastery of the literary fact and who is capable of making value judgments. This research is part of a project for the comprehensive training of literature teachers, who will find in this research the bases for their professional performance.
