Heritage education from Cuba history classes

The present work is part of a systematized experience in the Basic Secondary about the treatment of heritage education as a dimension of environmental education from the History of Cuba classes. Its objective is to build a proposal of activities to develop heritage education, strengthening civic education in the face of the challenges of sustainable development. During the investigation, scientific methods of a theoretical and empirical nature were used that allowed verifying the potentialities and needs of the selected sample, contributing to heritage education in the municipality of Sagua La Grande, based on a qualitative investigation.
