Abstract

This research is focused on the development of the environmentalist attitude of students in third-year sciences of the baccalaureate of the U. E. Archaeologist Julio Viteri Gamboa. Based on the current environmental imbalances caused by pollution, uncontrolled exploitation of resources, as well as indiscriminate use of chemicals in industry and agriculture, it is important that we focus the study on young people, developing an environmentalist attitude from their contexts with the purpose of preserving nature for future generations. Thus, through this research it has been possible to obtain results that demonstrate a degree of development in the aspects, Initial progress and Not achieved, while for the aspects Achieved and in process, without valuation. Making visible 100% in Initial progress items such as: Verify the fulfillment of subjects for the profile of the baccalaureate in the institutional curriculum, Review the constancy of subjects related to the environment in the microcurricular plan. With 100% Not achieved the items: Verify if environmental subjects are transversalized, Review evaluation instruments carried out and without assessment in aspects Achieved and in process, which demonstrates a low implementation and application of environmental education in educational, academic training and teacher linkage.
