Abstract

This article refers to an investigation that arises from the need to offer a response to the deficiencies that occur in the orientation of the families of the students with significant emotional manifestations in preschool childhood, treated at the Center for Diagnosis and Orientation (CDO) of the Plaza de la Revolución municipality. In this sense, a Support Program is proposed for these families whose foundations integrate philosophical, sociological, psychological and pedagogical elements, which allows contextualizing the Historical-Cultural approach in its application. The designed Accompaniment Program enables the selection of objectives, contents, methods, means and forms of organization and evaluation in correspondence with the potentialities and needs of the selected families. It has an incidence from early childhood, this being the educational level where the Orientation and Follow-up process begins in the CDOs, constituting the stage most susceptible to correction and compensation in the face of a certain developmental irregularity, where the family plays an irreplaceable role. It acts by preventing the onset of behavioral disorders at later ages.
