LINK OF FIDEL CASTRO'S SPEECHES TO THE CUBA HISTORY PROGRAM OF THE PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL LEVEL

Abstract

Fidel Castro repeatedly addresses a wide range of Cuban History issues that constitute sources for historical knowledge, due to the depth with which he does so and the characteristics of his exhibitions, which are generally aimed at supporting ideas and thesis on the matter.

Fidel Castro is a knowledgeable man of the national history, and this allowed him to dedicate complete texts to the thorough analysis of a theme or the allusion to it to explain the evolution of certain facts, events and / or phenomena of national life.

This circumstance leads to his speeches and public interventions and reflections on historical issues can be used as a source for knowledge. In line with the above, we propose its implementation in the new teaching materials, which will be used in the 5th and 6th grades of primary education, as part of the improvement of the National Education System.

The article deals with an analysis of the characteristics of Fidel Castro Ruz's speeches, which makes it possible to insert some ideas into the 5th and 6th grade Cuban History program corresponding to the third cycle of the primary educational level.
