Abstract

The activity directed toward the diagnosis of childhood that is developed in our country has been promoted towards an increasingly comprehensive psycho-pedagogical evaluation, based on conceiving it from students and their contexts, focused on skills and tasks and integrated into the teaching-learning process. This diagnosis is characterized by pedagogical observation and contexts, by the application of individual tests, it qualitatively records and socializes the results in terms of special educational needs (SEN) and is in charge of the Diagnostic and Orientation Centers (CDO), specialized services of Special Education. However, in spite of how much progress has been made in the area of diagnosis, it is still searching only for disability, without valuing talent, which is also an international trend. Next, a brief theoretical study on Aspergers Syndrome and a case study.
