Abstract

The program is aimed to improve the way in which the territory adaptsto it, in a rational and effective way. Nowadays, the Ministry of Education (MINED, in Spanish) has performeda group of actions in order to implement the Cuban State plan to face the Climate Change. Such actions are also denominated as “Task Life” in different educational institutions. For the facts exposed before, some methodological alternatives were designed, with the purpose of contributing to the environmental education for the sustainable development through the content of the “Task Life program” at GenaroLópez Soto Educational Center in Placetas, Villa Clara. The first cognitive and procedural results in students were satisfactory, since the consulted bibliography was significant from the teachers. Likewise, the development of professional abilities in teachers was also improved,above all, the ones referred totheinsertionof the environmental education for the sustainable development in different spaces, using as starting point the prioritized actions and the tasks of the plan elaborated before by the Cuban State.
