Abstract

This work intends to carry out an analysis to a dimension little studied in the pedagogical scope and in particular in the educational attention to the minors with behavioral disorders: the racial and gender dimension. It is intended to make an assessment of those conditioning factors of the emergence of this problem from the racial and gender dimension. Considering that some researches in the Cuban and international field, pose the proportion of 10 males carrying the disorder to 1-2 for each girl. In the case of the Cuban referent, the following are reflected within the risk indicators to possess this disorder: being male, being black or mestizo; present high levels of dysfunctionality in the family context, among other causalities.
The current situation regarding inclusive education, with a gender perspective and the equalization of opportunities, requires other considerations to fill the gap that exists in the understanding of these problems, which although they have had answers in the different public education policies, and in the shelter offered by our social system, these dimensions are not always visible, to generate a substantial change and reverse the problem in question.
