El proyecto educativo institucional como proceso de transformación en la escuela pedagógica

Abstract

The transformations, which are carried out in the III Improvement of the National Education System, constitute a process of development of the institutions which are projected in the Institutional Educational Project. In this sense, the work aims to characterize the institutional educational project that takes place in the Pedagogical School "Manuel Ascunce Domenech". In the research, different sources were consulted that address the definitions and their evolution from an instrument approach oriented to the organization of the center and the curriculum, a document that plans the activities to a comprehensive proposal that guides the educational management processes towards a model of school defined. The methodological design was formed from a descriptive study; focused on reflecting empirical methods such as interview and observation aimed at identifying two types of information: the evaluations and opinions of the participants and the group interaction that demonstrates the attitudes and behaviors of the focus group discussion. It also made it possible to prepare the matrix of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Institutional Educational Project, strengthening the quality of the processes and results in pedagogical training. The results of the opinions and evaluations demonstrated the need to promote spaces for dissemination, control and monitoring of activities, positive attitudes were also manifested, no tension or conflicts were generated and the behavior was friendly, respectful, participatory and committed.
