Abstract

Due to the dynamics and social complexity of our environment, it is necessary to develop more comprehensive educational processes in children, adolescents and young people with which they would have better tools to face the challenges and demands of the environment. By integrating the concepts of life skills in educational programs, the aim is to provide children and young people with psychosocial skills that allow them to choose healthier lifestyles and behaviors. The purpose of this article is to analyze how the development of life skills is conceived in the homes of children without family protection. This issue has been little addressed, which is why the author is committed to searching for alternatives that guarantee and facilitate the integral development of children without family protection and raise the competence of the educational agents involved in the educational process carried out carried out in these institutions.
