Abstract

Flexibility, as an involuntary motor capacity, is lost over time if it is not preserved from an early age through the systematic performance of physical exercises with such objectives. In professional practice, it was observed that flexibility did not manifest itself naturally in the movements of children and, on the other hand, that teachers did not exert pedagogical influence so that they could carry out their movements widely. On the other hand, there is a tendency in the authors to suggest that their stimulation should begin at approximately 7 years old, since before it is presupposed as a manifest ability, which denotes a certain omission of the pedagogical postulates that state that education precedes development. This work shows the experience on the impact of a methodological proposal conceived for the preparation of teachers and as a result of its application, in the stimulation and development of flexibility in children from 3 to 6 years old.
