The professional improvement of CDO educational psychologists in the educational attention to talented students

Abstract

The following article addresses from a Science, Technology and Society (CTS) approach, the professional improvement of the specialists of the Diagnostic and Guidance Centers (CDO), specifically of the psychopedagogues of that center and their little protagonist participation in the attention to talented students, a novel universe that is included in the Orientation and Follow-up. It reflects on basic elements on the characteristics of learners with talented potential and the need to enhance and develop their talents. The aforementioned research pays tribute to the research group of the Institutional Project "The didactics of the preparation process for talent student competitions” that takes place at the Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences "Máximo Gómez Báez" from Camagüey.
