Abstract

Combining green chemistry content with environmental education is essential to enrich knowledge, skills, and practices. This research achieves, through activities, from the chemistry subject, to establish an interactive and continuous unit of the environment and its constituents that support the conservation of the ecosystem, the biosphere and the environment in general. Due to their appearance, these aspects have a positive impact on education at the Unified General Baccalaureate level. Through this they find the relationship between the theory and practice of knowledge, human and ethical values and human values. This study is based on a diagnosis of the main effects of the application of environmentally friendly green chemistry measures through didactic measures in the teaching and learning process. In conclusion, we demonstrate that the methodology used manages to close the gap between the knowledge of the subjects and the educational needs, giving way to environmental education as a transversal axis in the classroom. The objective of this study is to establish the relationship between green chemistry and didactic predictions in educational contexts of new concepts and contributions to environmental protection, in terms of teaching and learning processes.
